Guidelines for managers on how to prevent and reduce stress in the workplace

Updated guidelines have been published by the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD), the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and Investors in People (IIP).

The guidance has been developed as three separate documents: one setting out the competency framework and
two further leaflets which include the framework with additional advice for line managers and HR professionals respectively.

The guidance documents are titled:

Line management behaviour and stress: Updated guidance for line managers
