About our Project/Programme

BOUNCE

The aim of BOUNCE is to support Teachers, Youth & Community and Health & Social Services workers to become better informed about approaches to developing protective factors and positive health outcomes for young people. The manual focus on the issues of relationships, sexual health, drugs & alcohol, decision making and informed choices for Young People. RESILIENCE is as the capacity to face, overcome and be strengthened by adversities in life, the capacity to prevent, minimise or overcome the negative effects of adversity, the ability to bounce back and the ability to cope with life’s adversities.

How do we plan to build on work in the future

1 Day training available which aims to introduce the BOUNCE resource as a tool for working with young people around resilience
Co–working with class teachers who will then be trained in use of manual 4 week programme being piloted in 4 schools.
Training for Trainers
Follow up 6 month evaluation with all trained facilitators
