Promoting Well Being

The Accident Prevention Officer:

• Coordinates the work of the Southern Area Accident Prevention Liaison Group to promote productive multi-agency working

• Collates and make available local data

• Develops and coordinates accident prevention initiatives for the population of the Southern Trust area

• Establishes and maintain links with the various statutory and voluntary agencies concerned with promoting accident prevention in the Southern Trust area

• Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of initiatives in the area of accident prevention
